1. About MOLA ACADEMY
MOLA ACADEMY ("we", "us", "the platform") is an online tutoring marketplace operated from 74199 Untergruppenbach, Germany. These Terms govern your use of the platform. By registering you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the platform independently. Users under 16 require parental or guardian consent. Teachers must be at least 18 years old.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Tutor Approval
All tutors are manually reviewed and approved by our admin team before their profiles become visible. Approval is at our sole discretion and can be revoked at any time if standards are not maintained.
5. Bookings and Payments
- Session prices are set by tutors at their own competitive hourly rate and displayed transparently at checkout.
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe and held in escrow until the session is confirmed complete.
- Funds are released to the tutor only after the student confirms the session took place, or after the automatic 24-hour confirmation window expires without a dispute.
6. Platform Subscription (Teachers)
Tutors may subscribe to a platform plan (monthly, 6-month, or yearly) to access advanced scheduling and profile tools. Subscription fees are for platform access only and are separate from lesson payments. See our Refund Policy for subscription refund terms.
7. Conduct
All users must treat others with respect. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Harassment, discrimination, or abusive language
- Sharing contact details to bypass the platform and avoid fees
- Providing false information about qualifications
- Any unlawful activity
8. Intellectual Property
All platform content (logos, design, code) is owned by MOLA ACADEMY. Session materials shared between tutors and students remain the property of the uploader. You grant MOLA ACADEMY a limited license to store and display such materials solely for the purpose of delivering the service.
9. Liability
MOLA ACADEMY is a marketplace connecting students and tutors. We are not responsible for the quality of individual sessions beyond our dispute resolution process. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount paid for the specific booking in question.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by German law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
